As a high profile, superior brand, Harvey Nichols wanted to develop stand-out sustainable stationery using an eco-friendly material. They asked us to come up with ideas.
Our response:
We offered way above what Harvey Nichols had expected! Print 4 researched paper options and
initially offered Ellie Poo paper; yes, it’s what it sounds like, paper milled from recycled material including a high
percentage of elephant poo! What could be more recycled than that? This led us to looking at other similar papers,
such as those made of rhino poo, old bank notes and straw to name a few.
We eventually settled on denim recycled paper which unsurprisingly contained a high percentage of old denim
fibres. This fitted perfectly with their fashion brand also.
The customer loved the product range, which gave them a unique promotional story for press and marketing.
